Carrot Cheesecake n Cuppies

This cakes and cuppies are made specially for the real day of my daughter's birthday to be celebrated with her class mates and teacher's in school.

Wasn't a good shot, but manage to capture some of the process that i make to complete the exact piece. It might look very similar like the very first one which I did it for the weekend but i can't help just because she loves the purple dinosaur so much.

The puppies are made specially for those born of the doggy year of 2003, since this is for all of them who born on the same year so i just decided to place some in for the fun of looking at the expression of those little ones. Decide on a very last minute coz' I'm totally out of idea. The doggy was without any support on the neck that is why it's fully on the ground, hopefully it's as cute as i imagine.

This are the twelve cuppies which i did it for her classmates. I'm rather surprise with the outcome and i did it with deep thoughts on what it might allergic for those little ones, so i finalise it with cream cheese frosting so that i don't need any raw eggs in any of the butter cream. Teachers feedback was rather pleasing with the looks on the kids face when they saw the food...all the ask can we actually eat the cute little things on top of the so called cupcakes....kids this days can be very imaginative though.

This topper was initially o be on top of the cake but this mini cake turns out to be too high for my box, luckily i prepared a rather bigger base for this cake so all of what i have hand molded for the cake have to lay on the base in front of the cake and i have to secure it's position with tiny bit's of cream cheese so it doesn't toppled all over the box. Oh yes those tiny little buds of roses was thought by my flickr friends online hope the outcome of it doesn't disappoint her. My first time.

This is the exact mini cake looks like, again the shot is horrible I really wish i had a better and sharper view to show, because i kind of like the final of what i put together. Well my small one really love purple so i have no choice to put in more colour to make it not so boring and she agrees on the pink anyway, but she keep s telling people and her friend that's Chlo and Barney celebrating her birthday, glad she loves it. Since this is my very first time to put in some 3D stuff together, in the near future i will improve better. Given chances to do better i needed a lot of support from all of you my fellow friends, viewer and customers. Thanks, please don't hesitate to leave comment in order for me to do better in future.

Carrot Cheesecake

This was actually done again because i never really tried it when my very first cake was ordered from one of my good friend from Penang island and it's for her sister from Australia, they loved it so i thought to give it a better shot on this and see if i really do improve.

This cake was really a challenge and well i loves challenges as always, here are some of the process before i got the final piece of kind of fist attempt for figures, i really thank my Flickr friends for teaching me alot even i ask too much. Well i guess from the picture this cake was really a custom made design for my youngest daughter's birthday but we did it on the weekend at my in laws place and i was kind of accumulate alot of reference from all over my Flickr friends and try alot, in fact my first doll torn apart and i never give up and did it again.

All can be eaten, fondant molded figurines and topped with fresh cream, sandwiched with lemon banana slices. This is the comments from others who have tasted this cake, but too me is just very normal unlike the one I myself was very please about was the two Hazelnut cheesecake and Macadamia nuts cheesecake that was exquisite, i don't know the prize outside but who loves cheesecake knows the prize and taste well.

Wasn't a good shot, my camera always low battery when starts getting into the mood to take more....oooohhhh disappointed. Mainly i was rather satisfied with the outcome and of course the most important thing when everyone look at it they start to admire what i did....More to come for her real day on 27th May.

Please next time whoever visited my blog if you beautiful ladies and gentleman leave a comment....thank you

Rich Butter cakes

This is just an ordinary cake which my auntie ordered for some friends and its a very last minute order which i don't even have a 24hr notice, what i have in hand and mind i do...manage though, 4 the same cake but it was too late to get a good shot and i just manage to get two of the four.

So, i guess here is the two which i manage to get before my camera is out of battery again. So i did deliver on my way to work. It's a rich butter cake which is one of my favourite time of all, moist and fragrant. Not too sure on those allergic to milk and butter. It's a pretty small one too because it's just 5and half inches width. Not too sweet as well. Thank you on those orders even it was a rush one.

Japanese Light Cheesecake

This cake is specially made for my mum in-law, she always wanted this cake for a long time, so I do have this recipe for sometime given from one of my good friend, just haven't really have the time and thought to do it do just take this special day to do all my love ones with what they love instead of what i think they like.

I'm out of time actually because i topped the cake only on the Mother's day morning before i headed home to my in-laws place he he.... even what colour she like i feel shame that i don't know, all i know is she just appreciate every effort i put in no matter what i do for her, she is a very very nice woman that i come to know, so since her name starts with a 'J' my daughter tell me, add some cute little things to it then when my daughter was telling me to add in the worm, i was just laughing at her and say...nonsense but i go with her instinct, she kind of like the whole final master piece all of us in....maybe all that matters is the love all of us put into the cake.

Finally we make it before 11am and well, Japanese light with vanilla sponge, topped with a thin layer of white chocolate frosting before i topped another layer of dark semi sweet chocolate frosting, of course the coloured little deco is of peppermint fondant. All they ate but the caterpillar and the toadstool they worry on the sweetness so they just put it aside. oh those eyes are from black sesame seeds so all are edible, just the plate not....Enjoy!

Cotton Cheesecake

It's a last minute cake when my neighbour call to order for the next day Mother's Day. It's kind of a total blank order where they just mention cheesecake, so all i thought about is cotton cheese, it's very light and easy to like even those who doesn't really like cheese will fall in love with the texture itself.

What's worst is my neighbour's daughter order for her mum and she doesn't know what her mum likes, so from daily observation, from her clothing's she loves wearing i think I'll just give it a shot that she might loves it even she doesn't eats the cake. It's called cotton is because of the texture, soft as cotton. It's a very classic cake anyone will like or at anytime of the day.

So as the first cake that i made for my mum, cheese is always good with chocolate, so i did ask my neighbour and they doesn't want cream so i just does the frosting and the flowers as my basic ones just additional cute little fellas in for the kids to enjoy. Haven't really met them, hope they really feels satisfy with what they ordered.

Macadamia Cheesecake

This was made specially for my mum for Mother's Day, her favourite colour is yellow and she doesn't like milk so much so i have to think of something that she really enjoy inside out from her heart. This was a new cheesecake to me though but does have some challenges and the time that took me to complete this piece really challenge my patience.

Firstly, the macadamia nuts is driving me crazy, i was scouting high and low for that, but at last i just bought it the edible nuts which cost me quite a bit but worth it when i myself saw the final piece and i have a chance to taste it aha... It's with the finest cream cheese, macadamia nuts which i have to blend in with the fresh milk and the chocolate frosting was done by double whipped, fresh milk and semi sweet dark chocolate. The coloured stuff is from my usual peppermint fondant. Wasn't too good at the flowers yet still a beginner after all. Trying improve though.
I do wish i can really polish on the roses, it will be definitely good if yellow and white roses are added in, I'm sure my mu will love those as well. Whoever who wish for a try no harm ordering though. Worth a try, i would class this cake as a good cake.

Thank You Cakes

This was made for my daughters caretaker since she was born. It's a confinement home where there are quite a few of them including the two 'yee ma' like God mother to her, all of them are very loving.

My daughter is leaving them is just that sh is going to nursery, it's just time for her to go out and learn and mix around instead of her new born friends she use to have in the center. Since my daughter favourite colour is purple and pink and most of them there love chocolate so i just decided to made some of this so just let them know that I appreciate their love and care.

I did the cakes just the night before i sent to them, well good that i stayed in an apartment and it wasn't hot plus those extra friends wasn't so welcome, pesticides doesn't really occurs so i just let it open even in the box, for some air for those icing to stay good, the topping is with peppermint handmade fondant paste. The frosting is Honey Cream Cheese. Overall the combination just nice. The sugar fondant after adding peppermint it smells very nice taste wise not so sweet as the original. The cream cheese is good enough to even just for spreading on the bread. Enjoy!
